Frequently asked questions about removals
How do I get a quote?
After a survey on site or by video call, we issue a detailed quotation, free and without obligation, setting out the estimated volume, the services chosen and the date of the move.
How far in advance should I book?
Allow three to four weeks for a domestic move and six to ten weeks for an international one. June and July are in high demand, so book earlier if you can.
Do I have to pack myself?
That is your choice. We range from simply supplying cartons to a fully managed service where our teams pack, transport, reassemble and unpack everything.
What if my new home is not ready in time?
We store your belongings in a storage unit or a sealed container, then deliver on the date of your choosing.
Are my belongings insured?
Yes. Every move is covered, and we draw up a declaration of value with you to match your furniture. Specific cover can be arranged for valuable pieces.
Do you move fragile or valuable items?
Pianos, safes, works of art, antique furniture: our Fine Art teams step in with bespoke packing and the right lifting equipment.
