The ESI Group is a leading player in high value-added technical logistics, specialising in complex, constrained and critical environments, particularly in the aerospace and aeronautics sectors.
Scale and volume of operations
As part of the International Air and Space Show, ESI is responsible for hundreds of tonnes of equipment and several thousand cubic metres (m³) of crates, equipment and technical sub-assemblies.
These volumes include aircraft, technical containers, large industrial crates and sensitive high-tech equipment, as shown in the photos of field operations.
Exceptional human deployment
For example, during the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget, no fewer than 120 ESI employees are mobilised, including project managers, technical managers, day and night operational teams and a dedicated customs unit stationed on site for the duration of the event.
Aeronautics & Space Exhibition Expertise
ESI deploys a dedicated organisation integrating specialised transport, heavy handling, aircraft lifting, multi-stakeholder coordination and compliance with the exhibition’s safety requirements.
- Safety & risk management: Prevention plans, PPSPS, daily safety briefings and management of concurrent activities.
- Independent management of customs formalities: ESI holds AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) accreditation and independently handles EU and non-EU customs formalities, temporary importation procedures and ATA carnets.
- Transport capacity & freight forwarding: ESI has HGV transport capacity and is a freight forwarder, guaranteeing complete and integrated control of the national and international supply chain.
With its technical, human and regulatory expertise, the ESI Group is positioned as a leading logistics partner for the International Paris Air Show.
