A CSR approach that supports our values - ISO 20121 Certification

For Group ESI, and our 3 entities (ESI Fine Arts, ESI Mobility and ESI), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an approach that is part of our sustainable development perspective.

Our CSR approach applies to:

  • art logistics,
  • luxury goods
  • event transport,
  • and top-of-the-range removals.

Its cross-functional integration targets social, environmental, and economic concerns for our company’s activities.

Group ESI: The crucial importance of developing

Given the challenges of sustainable development, we are convinced that CSR is of particular importance:

  • for each and every one of our employees,
  • and for the many stakeholders involved in the supply chain in general.

It is our ecological duty and our duty as citizens to take account of the environmental aspects linked to:

  • transport,
  • chartering,
  • and the conservation of goods in general.

Our values are absolutely in line with the CSR approach, which emphasises Transparency, Dialogue, Responsibility and Action.

CSR, in this context, involves the voluntary integration by companies of social and environmental concerns into their commercial activities and their relations with stakeholders.

This means that the company recognises – and this is what Group ESI does – that in addition to its criminal and civil liability, it also has a societal responsibility towards society as a whole.

This was the case, in particular, by opting for eco-responsible solutions such as:

  • recycling of packaging,
  • reducing CO2 emissions,
  • or the implementation of effective responsible management.

Group ESI, ISO 20121 Certified

A committed and very active player, Group-ESI has obtained ISO 20121 certification

The ISO 20121 standard is a benchmark for responsible event management: while promoting sustainability, it takes account of social, economic and environmental impacts.

By adopting this standard, Group-ESI is committed to event management that promotes:

  • reducing the carbon footprint associated with transport,
  • improving the organisation’s reputation,
  • stakeholder engagement and loyalty.

Respect for environmental aspects

Whether for our own transport or as a freight forwarder, we seek to reduce our carbon footprint through controlled management of our fuel consumption (choice of less polluting modes of transport, etc.).

From a general operational point of view, we have implemented a policy that encourages:

  • responsible treatment of our waste,
  • as well as measured and controlled consumption (no over-consumption, controlled paper consumption in our offices, energy savings, use of recycled materials for our supplies, etc.).

We are also committed to protecting the environment. For example, we ensure that our activities do not harm the natural resources and biodiversity of the ecosystem surrounding our storage warehouses.

Giving social responsibility its due

One of the pillars of CSR concerns the social dimension, where we take care:

  • guarantee decent working conditions for our employees,
  • encourage dialogue with our stakeholders,
  • to attach importance to the training of our employees, because we believe that consolidating or developing new skills is a means of achieving personal and professional fulfilment,
  • and to provide maximum safety in their work, both for our teams and for our subcontractors, by adopting a risk prevention policy.

An economy of constant and sustainable growth

In economic terms, Group ESI has embarked on a global performance approach that fully integrates the challenges of sustainable development.

For example, we have put in place ethical technical and commercial practices that take care of our employees and their environment.

Thanks to responsible management, we encourage the involvement of all our colleagues, who are fully associated with this CSR approach.

Our eco-responsible approach is fundamental to the way our company operates and to our relations with our customers, whether they are:

  • organisers of trade fairs or events for the general public,
  • art collectors, national museums or private collections,
  • art gallery owners, designer architects, etc.
